Closure Notice

Official Notification, Effective as of 01/07/2025

To all of our patients: We regret to inform you that Eastside Ob/Gyn will be closing permanently on 03/31/2025. We would like to thank you for the trust you have given us over the years as your OB/GYN physicians. Please know that we will facilitate your continuity of care and try to make this transition as smooth as possible for you.

If you are currently pregnant and your due date is prior to the practice closure date, your prenatal care and delivery should not be impacted by this. Routine postpartum care visits can be scheduled with Drs Price, Tun, or Tsuang at their new practices, including for Dr. Dydell’s patients, as she is retiring. If your due date is after the practice closure date, you may continue your prenatal care with your current physician by transferring to their new practices with them, should that be your preference, or you could choose to transfer your prenatal care to a different practice or hospital.

If you are an established gynecology patient and have been seen here within the past 3 years, we can continue to see you here until the practice closes, and then you will need to transfer your gynecology care, either with one of our physicians at their new practice, or to a different practice of your choosing. If you have not been seen within the past 12 months prior to the practice closing, we will unfortunately not be able to provide any refills for prescription medications.

Dr. Price and Dr. Tsuang will be transitioning to the Center for Women’s Health at Evergreen, and Dr. Tun will be transitioning to Evergreen Healthcare Obstetrics and Gynecology, Coral. Contact information for those two practices are on the next page. The doctors will be seeing patients in their new practices starting 04/01/2025.

If you would like to transfer to a different practice, please contact our office prior to 03/28/2025 to obtain copies of your medical record. For your convenience, records release authorization form can be found here:

In accordance with WA state law, there will be a nominal fee per page to make copies of your chart if you would like a physical copy. There will be no charge for electronic transfer of records. If you choose to pick up the copy of your record so that you may personally take it to your new physician, please do so by 03/28/2025. After the practice closing date, please note that your detailed medical records will remain secure and will be held for the duration required by state law. We will update information on how to obtain your records on or after 4/1/2025 on our website (eastsideob.com) in upcoming days.
